Hello to all, newbie to this site and hoping to get some valuable info here (sorry to thread jack) I am interested in getting GSC 2013 but have a few questions. I have played many titles from F1 challenge to rfactor, I know this game uses the rfactor engine but hope it differs in some ways. I only play offline and was hoping it offered a more in depth career mode, in rfactor after winning a race there wasn't much sense of accomplishment, looking for something a little more rewarding. Anyone have any experience with this? Click to expand. Thanks for the quick response. So you can pretty much say it is set up just like rfactor, I guess I didn't really mean a career mode but as you probably know rfactor is more setup for online play and not much in offline.
Might this title offer a little more for offline. One other question, one thing I really liked about rfactor was all the mods available, I am looking to get the bundle with trucks and was confused as to what mods were available for what games, maybe someone could clarify. What Seb said really.
Like rFactor, GSC is light on presentation and off-track immersion. You just finish the race and drive back to the pits/press escape. What GSC does offer is excellently modelled cars across the board and detailed tracks. It really shows what the ageing rF1 engine is capable of in the right hands, not just for physics, handling and force feedback, but also graphics and audio. Formula Truck is worth it just for a different experience. The handling takes some time to get used to but the feeling of being in a heavy, hugely powerful truck is so well done.
Handling is very convincing. Both GSC and FT are must haves for people who like their racing sims. Pretty cheap to buy too.

Over the next few months we plan to continue supporting GSC2013 with a constant flow of developments, including new cars, new tracks and new simulation features. Without going into specific details just yet, this is what GSC2013 users can look foward to in the near future: 1- The updates will come in at a roughly regular pace – every month or so something new will be added to the sim, be it a new track, a new car, or a new feature, along with continuous improvements & eventual bug fixes; 2- All updates will be free – if you own GSC2013, the new content will be made available to you at no adittional charge.
Exciting news from Reiza (nabbed from racedepartment) March is upon us, and the autoracing season is now really getting underway. Reiza Studios takes the opportunity to announce the development of the Formula Extreme – the first car in a high-end racing simulator based on the F1 technical regulations of 2014 – including a V6 1.6 Turbo engine, 8-speed gearbox, energy recovery systems and DRS. The release of this new car is part of the exciting new content comprising Game Stock Car Extreme – a series of free DLC packages coming up for Game Stock Car 2013 over the next few months. The first of these releases is to come before the end of march. The based on a 1995 Formula 1 car with an incredible sounding high revving engine has now progressed into beta stage and is undergoing testing before release.
If you are a fan of racing simulators, chances are you have already enjoyed some of the creations from members of Reiza Studios. We currently have a great bundle pack with the studios’ most recent titles. New GSC update: Main Changelog from v1.10: Content - Added Floripa race track + 4 kart layouts; - Added Montreal 1988; - Added Formula V12 (field currently limited to 4 teams and drivers for v1.15 - more to come in v1.20).
Reiza Studios has released their 1.15 version update for Game Stock Car 2013, bringing a new car and two new tracks to the sim. In addition to the update, Game Stock Car 2013 has been rebranded as Game Stock Car Extreme. The Formula V12 is a beast of a car, with a howling 12-cylinder engine. It takes a delicate right foot to control the 690 horsepower going to the rear wheels, and will provide a fun challenge to all.
Included with the car is Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, home of the Canadian Grand Prix. The update includes the 1988 layout of the track, which features some very high speed turns in addition to the tight hairpins and corners that makes the track a difficult but rewarding drive. The Floripa Karting Circuit is also added, bringing four different variations or your karting pleasure. With changes in the RFM files, you can also now race normal cars on kart circuits (and karts on normal circuits), but don’t expect the AI to work too well in those situations!
For more information about the various other updates to the title, you can check out the changelog at the bottom of this post. If you have Game Stock Car 2013 v. 1.10, you can use the GSC Sync utility, or if you have an older version, you can download the utility.
